	Amiad - Strainers for irrigation, drinking and process water Amiad in-line Strainers are a useful low-cost product, mainly used as a precautionary filter in front of a sand filter, cartridge filter or on their own. We recommend them for practically any situation where sediment, grit or rust is likely to be present in the water supply. This includes practically all surface water and cooling water.

Ratings are available from 1mm down to 0.02 microns. Major uses include cyst removal from potable water, particle removal from food and beverage industry process water and sterile filtration for high purity Dl water and bottled water. We supply Filterite cartridges for use in pharmaceutical, cosmetics and electronics manufacturing, cooling circuits and process water treatment, clarification of paints, coatings, inks, varnishes, oils, greases, resins, chemicals and emulsions. Cartridges are also supplied for coalescing and solids removal from compressed air, hydrogen, nitrogen and other gases. 	Filtersoft - Retrofit cartridges for industrial filter cartridges Filtersoft make a comprehensive range of economical retrofit cartridges for a variety of manufacturer's filtration equipment. Cartridges are available for water, hydraulics fluids, chemical, oil and gas filtration systems. Industrial filter manufacturers often extensively customise their systems so only their cartridges can be used. However we now have Ultrafit and Purolite cartridges available to replace proprietary cartridges in a wide variety of applications from laboratory water systems to the removal of water from hydraulic fluids. Savings range from 25-50% of OEM cartridge costs. A particularly useful oil and fat removal water filtration cartridge is the Clerify, this cartridge is made from a modified cellulose which adsorbs up to three times its own weight in hydrocarbons.
	Filterpure cartridge filter systems The FILTERPURE range of inexpensive cartridge filtration products is designed for the domestic and rural markets as well as smaller applications in the industrial sector. Filterpure is exclusive to Contamination Control and our dealers. It includes nominally rated surface, depth and activated carbon cartridges. Also available are special purpose 10" cartridges for nitrate removal, softening, deionising and other unique applications. 	Freeflo - Backwashing media filters Pressure driven filtration through backwashable media filters or regenerating softeners is a common treatment in industrial and potable water supply. We design and assemble the Freeflo range of filters using sand, anthracite, garnet, carbon and other media. Flow rates per unit are up to 30,000 Litre/hr in vessels of non-corroding GRP reinforced polythene. Automatic backwashing is standard. The Microlene range includes smaller versions for rural or light industrial use. 	Reverse Osmosis - Membrane demineralisation of water We distribute economical commercial Reverse Osmosis systems with outputs from 350 to 35,000 litres per day. These cost-effective systems are engineered to produce high purity water. The basic units can be upgraded with optional accessories to provide a high level of automation. Seawater desalination RO systems are also available.
